The Fued is Over (And I Won!)
15 07 2008You may or may not remember when I made it known that I simply cannot do the stairmaster. At all. I trip and stumble and make a horrible specticle of myself. So I stopped before I ended up killing myself.
Well, in honor of me shaking up my workouts more, I did it.
I got off work a bit early, dropped off Mary’s prize at the post office, and headed to the gym. There it was- about 11 feet in the air, laughing at me. I popped in my ipod, took a deep breathe, made sure no one was watching, climbed aboard and stepped my way to victory.
I honestly think i was just trying to do it too fast before, but whatever. i still did it. and i will do again, too. CAUSE I DO WHAT I WANT.
I then went to Marshall’s to look for new shoes for running/work, where i was completely mortified.
I immediately went to the clearance section and found the cutest new balances I have ever seen. New Balances usually hurt my feet, but i tried these on and they fit like…i dunno. they were comfortable. and guess how much they were?
$10. yeah. score.
So i grabbed them, along with some running pants I found, and stood in line FOREVER. I finally got to the front, with about 10 people behind me and the guy grabs the shoes, and yells, “You know these are 2 right shoes, right?”
i did not. i only tried on one.
I tried to be lighthearted and said something like, “Aw dang, no I didn’t know, thanks for telling me,” all cheerful even though I was pissed and probably bright red. So then he yells, “You should get out of line then. and try on both shoes next time.”
Douchebag. thankfully someone opened a lane next to me so i bought my pants and bolted.
which i am wearing right now and love. they are very flattering:
i tried to find a picture but couldn’t. they are “kyodan slimming black capris”.
so instead i will show these yoga pants i found. and would like you to buy me immediately:
